Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using VaultMind ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
VaultMind is an AI-powered study platform that helps users process, summarize, and review educational content from uploaded documents. The App provides features including but not limited to: AI-generated summaries, quizzes, flashcards, audio summaries, intelligent reminders, and an AI chat assistant.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of all documents and content you upload to the App ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you. We do not share, sell, or use your uploaded content for any purpose other than delivering the service.
5. AI-Generated Content
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, quizzes, flashcards, and other study materials. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content. AI-generated content should be used as a study aid and not as a sole source of information.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights; (c) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (d) interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks; (e) use automated means to access the App beyond normal usage; (f) share your account credentials with others.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by VaultMind Team and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written consent.
8. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. Your uploaded documents and generated content are stored securely. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You are encouraged to maintain your own backups of important documents.
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VaultMind Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
